Sorry about the lapse in coverage. Our web hosting server went down this morning; I called them and they were aware of the problem and were working to get it fixed. It came on a very bad day, and took longer than I would have liked, but it seems that we are finally back up & running!

Randy has been keeping me updated. Until he gets back on, here is a synopsis. We have one guaranteed All-American in Parker Madl. Cade Blair, Trey Page & Kyle Caylor are still in the hunt. All four are wrestling in the consolation bracket.

Colt Rogers came a close 0-1 loss shy of becoming an AA. Cade Blair just won his match, guaranteeing him AA status.

We have four All-Americans, as both Kyle Caylor & Trey Page won their matches. Cade Blair, Kyle & Trey need two more wins to compete for third, Parker Madl is one win away from the third place match.

What are the state team scores looking like?

(is it safe to come in) ... after spending a couple of hours trying to diagnose the "problem" from the Beach ... I found out that the server was down!

Yes, we have four of our Kansas Seniors that will be All-Americans! The Four Horsemen will take the stage at 9 am and jockey for their placement!

It looked like (from what I could gather from the goofy NCHS website 'brackets') Blair lost to an OK four time state champ by a score of 9-8. If that is correct info, I bet that was an exciting match.

It is great to see our state in the top 10, hats off to all the wrestlers that represented our little piece of heaven. Kansas wrestlers are a special breed.

Parker will be wrestling for 3rd after a win!

Blair loses 1-2 and Madl won

Iowa's Evan Knight at 189 gets the award for Right Place At the Right time: 3 consecutive injury defaults...he received them in the conso quarters, and in the 2 previous rounds. Thus having wrestled 1 true match on the backside after losing in the 3rd round on the front...he was well rested for the conso semis, which he just won.

Who is winning the Ironman award for early loss and claiming the most conso wins for the nation?

Cade Blair places 6th at the NHSCA Senior Nationals ... Congratulations Cade!!

Parker loses 1-4 and finishes 4th ... Parker Madl is an All-American!!

Trey Page finishes 7th and is an All-American!

Kyle Caylor tried to wrestle with an elbow injury but couldn't ... he finishes in 8th and is an All-American!!

Trey Page went 6-1 on Saturday and Sunday to take 7th after losing in the first round to a guy from N.J. who is in the finals.

I think madl is going to ou but can anyone speak were the rest of the seniors are going to college next year really interested in caylor and page and blair
