The 4th annual SFT wrestling camp will again be the week before the state games, July 6, 7, 8th. We are breaking the camp up into 3 different groups, as we feel the campers will get more out of it. K-2 will go from 12-1pm; 3-6th will go from 1-2:30; and 7th thru 12th will be from 2:30-5pm.
For the above reason, we are holding the camp at Overbrook Grade School(on HWY 56), which is right next to the Overbrook Swimming Pool. We will provide each camper with one free pass to the pool if they plan on using it (campers 9 and under need to be supervised).
Coach Eric Van Kley, Head Coach of Central College in Iowa will be the clinician for the first two days of camp. We are excited to have him back, as last year he grasped the kids attention the first minute, and had them engaged the entire time (even the little ones!). Merrick Wiles, former SFT, Huron U., and Neosho Head Coach will work the third day of camp. The SFT high school and Trailhands coaches will also be assisting.

When & Where: Camp will be held at the Overbrook Grade School gym on July 6th, 7th, and 8th. Overbrook Grade School is located on HWY 56 in Overbrook. The times for the grades K-2 school kids are from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. each day; grades 3-6th from 1-2:30pm; and 7th-12th from 2:30-5:00pm.
FREE SWIMMING PASS: The grade school is right next to the swimming pool. Each camper will be given a free one day swim pass.
All age groups are welcome. The camp will cover solid fundamentals and details of Folkstyle wrestling. We will also cover mental preparation, and conditioning techniques.
Cost: Pre-registration is encouraged. The sign up fee is $20. Late registration and walk-ins are welcome but discouraged. Checks can be made out to Trailhands Wrestling and delivered to Coach Erickson by hand or sent to him at 407 Trail Dr. Overbrook Ks, 66524.
