Pflughoeft comes to Bethany from Great Bend High School, where he wrestled for three years. He was a state qualifier in 2011.
Head Wrestling Coach Jacob Marrs says, "Damian comes to us from an excellent team at Great Bend. He is a great kid and has a lot to offer our program. We are excited to support him in his wrestling and excited about the academic opportunities he has here in pre-professional medicine. Damian is a nice fit for Bethany, and he will be a positive influence on our campus."
Pflughoeft is the son of Ronelle DeLaurentis. He has a 3.3 grade point average and plans to major in pre-medicine.
