The Hillsboro Wrestling Club will once again be hosting their Annual Takedown Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 4th. This is a great early season tournament for wrestlers of all abilities. Our primary focus and goal is to get every wrestler 3 matches in a four-man round robin format where we try to separtate novice and more experienced wrestlers. Thanks to all that attended our 12th Annual Takedown Tournament. Other than the number of changes and slightly late start, I was please with the rest of the day. I hope it was a positive & enjoyable experience for all of you and your clubs! There was some exciting wrestling and what a thrill to watch many of the little ones wrestling in their first ever matches. I hope this was a good beginning to a great season for all of you. Great job again this year with your tournament. We brought about 10 brand new wrestlers and they loved it and the parents had a good time as well. Thanks for your and all your volunteers hard work.
