Last year he was a State Qualifier. I haven't seen any results from Horton this year. Please post any information that you may have here so we can make a more accurate ranking.

Thanks!

I have seen Rice wrestle this year and he is a very qualified young man to be in the rankings. And Chief is correct in that he was a state qualifier. The only loss my 140lb wrestler has(who is also a state qualifier from 09') is to Rice in the second match of the year.

I updated the rankings I've done since the results for the Onaga and Colby tournaments have been posted. There was also one change at 112 after the Plainville v. Beloit dual was posted.

May want to keep an eye on freshman Nick Wuthnow, hes atleast two time kids state champ and multi state placer, and I believe his only loss this season was a one pointer to a ranked senior from Beloit early in the season, freshman are only going to get better and stronger!!

What weight does he wrestle and where is he from?

The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.

His results I've seen are at 152lbs, and he goes to Sacred Heart, which coops with Southeast of Saline!

Thomas did not go out for wrestling. My understanding is that he is going to focus on getting larger and stronger for college football. I believe he is going to play for Butler Community College next season.

I think Hoxie should be the clear cut #2 ranked team. Calvin Ochs (state runner-up) and Donovan Schamberger aren't ranked, but have state experience and probably should be. Combine that with sophomores like Brandon Salmans and Steven Yergy...Hoxie just has much more depth than Rossville and Eureka.
