Yes, we hopeto have them posted no later than Thursday for clubs to review and check for errors. NO weight changes will be accepted unless it is our error.
Thank you, Sarah Hartley

Has nothing to do with it being bad. It has to do with refunding entries. Just because someone can't make it, does not mean a tournament will not be held.

We have never been to a tournament that gives a ring to the 1st place wrestler. Do lots of Kansas clubs do this? Is it an actual ring the wrestlers can wear.? Sounds very neat/

Its is an actual ring... Comes in a case! If you look at our flyer it give you an idea of what the ring looks like. I also think it comes with a dog tag chain if you request one (in case they out grow or whatever). I know JOC gives a ring and I heard that some other tournaments do it for OW but we are the only one around ks that I know of. We have tried very hard over the last few years to rebuild the rep of our tournament. There was major melt downs 5 or 6 years ago so we started over. We started doing just novice. Then grew into a small open. Then we added the rings and were one of the 1st clubs to really try satellite weigh ins. Every year a little bigger and a little better. All the while trying to start on time and get done early. This year our open tournament has about 700 kids, 4 or 5 differen states, we have a free Mark Krause clinic and have added a hospitality room.
So I hope everyone enjoys it this year! Please feel free to offer any suggestions or comments! I hope to see you all Saturday!
