What can I say. Garrett took 3rd was real happy about that but what did it cost me lets see parking $34, getting 4 people in to days $166, entry fee $47 for tournament and $20 for deuls, hotel $ 86, gas to get there and back around $80, feeding 5 people for two days probly around $150. No I don't blame the people that ran the tournament it was well run and a very good tournament. No it was my stupidity for going it seems and unless I strike it rich between now and the next liberty probly wont go back.

that was my deciding factor as why i didnt take my son this year. 47 dollars and what like 30 to coach. if i decided to take my other kid it would have been 25 more. didnt figure in the parking and the meals. already would have had a hotel as i had a daughter playing volleyball in kc. i just decided i would help on the carl hall home makeover by my house as he is a family friend then stay home to watch highschool state. so i saved just enough money to get me through the end of the season.

At least they were big on volunteers. We saved some money that way. Spent $1800.00 last year going to Reno, so it was a little cheaper than that.

It has suddenly become clear to me, we aren't charging enough for our Kansas tournaments!

Getting tough matches and standing on the podium! Priceless! Bragger! Only getting 3 matches and injury defaulting out. Jacked up knee, bruised bone, Hematoma under cap, 2 weeks of right before state awesome. And it cost me a fortune. !@#$ MAN The Trowbridge's Liberty Nats Curse continues now that's priceless. Up side I did Double park all day, no ticket and got home and kicked the dog. Dumb Dog... Dumb tourny....
Jon Trowbridge Ive never had the fear of getting beat thats how most people lose.

Up side I did Double park all day, no ticket and got home and kicked the dog. Dumb Dog... Dumb tourny.... LOL. I hope Johnny gets better! How about on our first drive to KCMO, kid didn't make weight, $30 to rebracket, lost his seed. On the 2nd drive to KCMO we found out the 2 and 3 seeds also didn't make weight so we were all stuck in the middle of the bracket. Battled seeded wrestlers for the 1st four matches, then knocked out by an unseeded wrestler. Also knee was cranked in 1 st match and the next day, on our 3rd drive to KCMO, he limped to the duals where we paid our money and drove back home. Also I had to pay 7$ because some guy double parked. Ps: Did get 5 good matches from 5 different states, but still questioning if it was worth it. Glad the boy will be in HS next year. 4.50 hotdog wasn't half bad, but not half good. Will be a good story later in the year when I forget about how much money I spent. I didn't kick my dog, he kicked me and I took it. I was just happy to be home.
