WHAT A GREAT AND FUN WEEKEND!!! The State Tournament was something Greg and I always looked forward each and every year and that still has not changed as it is a time to renew old friendships and make new ones. Thank you to all who were a part of making it another exciting weekend of wrestling. Congratulations to all the State Qualifiers and State Placers from the 2011 State Tournament; you have all worked hard to get to this point. Win or loss – you are all champions in our hearts. Each of you was one of the “Sweet 16” in your age and weight class!!
To all the coaches who worked so hard to prepare these athletes for this level of competition. Great job coaches --
To the table workers who volunteered their time to work a table during the tournament. We couldn’t do it without each of you!!
To Mark Stanley and his crew for set-up and tear-down of the arena. They were still there when we left around 6:30 pm to drive home last night! Great job guys!!
To the District Directors for helping us out during the tournament. What a great group of guys we have on our executive board.
To the ladies and men who worked the head table for us!! You kept things running smoothly and right on track!!
To our State Officials; we may not always agree with ALL the calls they make, but overall felt they did a great job.
To the Wrestlers for Christ and the church service on Sunday morning.
To the Kansas Expocentre staff who were there and handled all our needs when asked!!
To the parents and other family members who sacrifice things to get their wrestlers and families to the State Tournament and throughout the year.
To the rest of the State Tournament Committee – thanks guys – what a great effort of teamwork!! As we all know, our own families sacrifice a lot during this past week and weekend as we plan and run the State Tournament. Thank you to your ENTIRE FAMILY!!
I'm sure I've left someone or some group out BUT it was not intentionally! Thanks to EVERYONE for whatever part they played in this past weekend!! Great job to all!

I'd like to take a moment to thank you, Leanna, for all that YOU do! I don't believe I saw you sit down all weekend!

And what a great display of athleticism by not falling face first from tripping on the computer cord that someone left hanging out on the mat, when you were jogging the 5th place wrestlers out onto the mat!!
