FHSU Hosts Annual Bob Smith Open This Saturday

Fort Hays State hosts the annual Bob Smith Open Tournament this Saturday (Dec. 3) at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. Entry and tournament information can be found at the following link...Tourney Info. The tournament begins at 9 am Saturday.
This tournament has consistently had over 300 collegiate wrestlers compete on an annual basis, consisting of athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for youth.

The tournament is open to all post-high school wrestlers.
Entries are $25 per wrestler, which must be faxed in or e-mailed to coach Chas Thompson prior to the 2 pm deadline on Friday, December 2. The entry fee must be paid at check-in, before weighing in. Check in will be from 6-7 am on Saturday, December 3. Entries not e-mailed or faxed prior to the deadline will be $30, no exceptions. If a wrestler fails to make weight, there will be an additional $20 charge for moving up a weight class.
