This Saturday Piper High School will be hosting their Varsity Tournament and also we will be hosting our 6th Annual Tyler Jobe Memorial Scholarship Pancake Breakfast. A lot of you may remember Tyler. He was a wrestler at Piper High School and during his Junior year was involved in a car accident where he lost the lower part of his leg. He returned his senior year to wrestle and was an inspiration to us all. In 2006 he was involved in another car accident where his life was taken by a drunk driver. I started this scholarship in his name to honor his spirit and determination on and off the mat. If you live in the area please come out to support the scholarship. The scholarship will go to a deserving Piper wrestler who is going to go to college. Breakfast is from 7-10am. $5 for adults and $3 for students. Thanks and take care.
