The Executive Council has selected Topeka as the host site for the state tournament the next 5 years. This decision was based on the financial commitment that was guaranteed in the Topeka bid. Those that have questions about the process or the basis of the bid,please post them. I and other board members will answer your questions.

As I recall, the vote was sixteen (16) in favor of Topeka, three (3) in favor of Wichita, and zero (0) for Hays.

Hays simply does not have the floor space to accomodate the necessary mat surfaces.

The three who voted for Wichita were Richard Salyer, Jenni Edison and Charles Knox.
