Here I go again...

I'd love to know about any 5/6A state qualifiers that have inspiring stories that we might get to share during the live streaming this weekend. If possible, we'll try to get those kids to the microphone to tell their stories, but I will need to know who to get in order to share.

I think it would be great to know about our wrestlers with parents serving away from home in the military, too. Since they will get to watch their kids wrestle, we should try to get the kids on to say hello after their big wins!

Thanks again,
Ryan

This isn't really an inspiring story, but it would be interesting to interview Tyler McMicheal of Ark City about his transfer from Central-Burden and how it has helped Ark City become the team to beat this season in 5A. He might also give a comparison of the state tournaments in Hays and Wichita.

Another Ark City wrestler to talk with would be Dalton Dietrich to see how he has recovered in the last week from his knee injury last week.

Tylor Woodruff of Goddard coming back to wrestle in the final two weeks of the season after a football injury is another interesting story line in 5A.

Manhattan taking all 14 wrestlers to state is also interesting for 6A.

Sorry. I don't know how old the link above is. Pretty inspiring to me!

jonathan peterson of hutch had not got to wrestle all year due to a injury the day before the first dual. He recoverd enough by regionals to wrestle and have a 1 pnt match with returning state champ calderon from gc. He also made a pretty hefty cut to 120 whixh he hasn't made since freshman year to help his team out
