Wanamaker Road will be closed between 29th and 37th streets. Official city detour says all through traffic should follow the posted route, taking 29th to Fairlawn to 37th.
SW Burlingame Road from 470 will also take you to the high school.

The High School is located at 5900 Southwest 61st Street Topeka, KS. They have a ton of parking so no issues there.

Indeed, this was a most unwelcome surpise. The road closed this morning. The only people that will be affected will be those planning on heading south on Wanamaker. The detour is actually fairly simple.

You probably only need to add 5-8 minutes to your trip time if you're coming this direction. See you all on Saturday.

Coach Parker, those are attachments and won't open for anyone FYI - Best way to avoid is come from Burlingame road and follow it to 61st street: From Topeka blvd, hit 57th street and go west till you come to the "T" and turn left going Southwest for about 2 miles. From I470, just get off on the Burlingame exit and head south for about 6 miles

I hate maps! Coming from hwy 24... Should I take Oakland Expressway around to Topeka blvd. and around?

Sorry Allie....probably too late, but yes I would take Oakland Expressway around, but get off on Burlingame Road and go South.

Saturday morning weigh in 6-7am don't be late.

Coaches meeting in weigh in room (HS wrestling room) at 8:00am

Table workers report to trackwrestling room (weight room above new gym) at 8:15 for table assignements. If anyone has experienced table workers that would like to volunteer come see me in the trackwrestling room. I think we have it covered, but I will never turn away help. If we can use you, you will get a noon meal and a refund of your admission.

Coaches bands will be handed out in the trackwrestling room.

Coaches with bands will be have a hospitality room (teachers lounge) I think they are serving a brisket sandwich lunch.
