I was wondering. I could be wrong but... Do you think if we allowed the 3rd place to challenge the second place for a true second we might have less FF or "injuries" in the final matches. Just a Question...

Why should we care if there are a lot of forfeits or "injuries" in the finals?

Not injuries... But FF or hint hint wink wink "injuries" to game the system on placement at state. Would a true second stop that? Just a question I have wondered for a while because of things I have seen at subs or districts.

Yeah I got what "injuries" meant, wink wink. So you think this would make it more fair?

Don't know. I just see kids not wresting for 3/4 or 1/2 and wonder if there is a better way. That is why I asked. I just like to watch wrestling not get to the end to watch nothing. frown

As much as I love a good conspiracy theory, Its not that uncommon for a wrestler who is injured to wrestle the matches they have to so they can place or know they can control and forfeit the tough ones to nurse an injury as much they can also not further injure themselves.
