Luke Bean is a Sun Devil!
Congratulations to the human wrecking ball from Kapaun!
He joins Kansans Dalton Miller, Jake Gentzler and Parker Madl at Arizona State.

Kapaun Mt Carmel HS will be wrestling this year at
Arizona State University.
Luke Bean was
one of the top high school 220 wrestlers in the United States this year. Luke Bean finished the year
rated #1 on Eric Johnson's Kansas All Class poll at 220.
Luke Bean last year as a Junior was 3rd in 2011 5A 215 with a
29-2 record. He followed that up with a devasting Senior year. Luke was
dominating this year in Kansas with a 43-0 record which I believe was mostly by Fall. Luke Bean was
2012 5A 220 State Champion.
Luke followed this up with an All American 3rd place finish at 2012 NHSCA Senior Nationals in which he sustained his only loss of the season a 5-3 loss to the eventual National Champion Richard Black of California. Wow, this was a very dominating and accomplished season for this young man who seems to be on an upward trajectory in his wrestling career.
