*****WRESTLERS NEEDED FOR MOVIE FILMING IN PITTSBURGH*****

Bennett Miller, Oscar nominated Director of “Moneyball,” is in town casting a movie about Olympic Gold Medalist wrestlers, Dave and Mark Schultz.

To ensure an authentic depiction of the sport and community we want to cast as many REAL wrestlers, coaches, referees, trainers, scorekeepers, and committee members as possible.

Wrestling choreography and consulting will be provided by John Giura (2 time World Cup Champion, 3 time NCAA All-American), and Jesse Jantzen, (Collegiate National Champion and 4 time state champion).

This casting session will not just be for extras. There will be the opportunity to be upgraded to speaking roles. Casting opportunities for general extras, and wrestling fans are also being sought at this time.

Filming Dates: October 2012 – January 2013
Auditions: SEPTEMBER 15, 2012
Where: Canon McMillan High School, Canonsburg PA
Ages: 12 – 65 (Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Wrestlers come dressed in or prepared to be dressed in singlets or wrestling practice gear (including shoes). Bring towel to shower if needed.

When the talent registration page "Collective Casting Group" pops up, please enter your basic information - BE SURE to include a current photo (one closeup and full body shot - clothed or if wrestler in wrestling wear).

Again, you can have a free basic not-active account as long as you want and you will be fully visible to be considered for this production.

Fill out all information you know about yourself. Please DO NOT make up sizes or guess at your height and weight or add wrestling skills or details that are not correct. It's better to leave it blank in that case. Please include ALL CONTACT INFORMATION (cell phone, email address and home phone).

We CANNOT CAST ANYONE WITHOUT A CURRENT COLOR PHOTO.

Have available for upload a good quality CURRENT photograph. (JPEG FORMAT ONLY). Preferably 1 head shot (from the chest and waist up) and 1 full body shot (Head to toe). Snapshots from your phone or digital camera is OK. Most important that the photo looks LIKE YOU DO NOW (do not submit an old photo)

No sunglasses please and stay away from profile pictures as your only photo of you (make sure to smile and show teeth especially if you have braces etc).

Make sure you submit a smaller size photo (not larger than 350 pixels wide). If your photo is larger, please resize first, then submit.

If for any reason you cannot provide two photos, please just input your information for now so we get you in our files but please upload pictures as soon as possible once you've registered.

Please make sure you complete the online registration application. Once you've registered you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means you did not complete the registration process. Once you're done, you can go in and update your information as needed at your convenience.
