Are high school wrestlers able to participate, even thought their school practices have already begun before the tournament?

Not likely, once you begin practice with HS team you cannot wrestle anywhere else till season is over, per KS High School Rules. If you want to go you should wait till Nov. 25th to join your HS Team.
