Don't worry guys, Bo and Ryne's legacies as great Kansas wrestlers are already secure. They were 2 of the best, no doubt, and if Isaac finishes his career with just 2 losses, or with 20 losses, it won't cause anybody to forget how great Bo and Ryne were in high school!

Now here's why its not a big deal:

1. It could have been a simple mistake. Happens all the time.

2. Perhaps STA sent their records into the JOCO tournament director the week before, as in before the loss occurred? I remember this happening when I was in High School, where my actual record entering the tournament was not the record shown on the bracket hanging on the wall in the hallway. Again, not a big deal. The official season record is always correct at the end of the year.

3. I don't know who Mr Peanut asked about it, but I highly doubt anybody in the STA program is trying to hide Isaac's loss to Shoemaker. It happened. We all know it happened. Its official. Its just not listed in these tournament results. Again, not a big deal.

I think losses are a requirement to achieve greatness. I hope Isaac wins four times and never loses another match. I like him and have always supported him. I really don't care other than I see the misrepresentation of the facts so often on wrestling records that I don't mind commenting when I see it. Really no big deal until Regionals and State. A few years ago a wrestler turned in 56 wins in one season and research showed that he had in the mid 40's. It is that kind of stuff that tarnishes the record keeping. smile

Hurla, You are a STA guy defending STA. I have nothing against STA or Isaac. I said before I think he is awesome. That said both your points stated above don't hold water. They counted his wins, just not his loss.

I simply said Isaac had a loss. That is a fact. I have two reasons I believe it should be listed. 1. It happened, and 2. So when Isaac sets his name in the record books and people ask a few year from now who is losses where to Bryce Shoemaker gets his due. There will not be many that beat Isaac so that is a great accomplishment.

And yes Tongie has a nice team. They have worked hard.

To all who care, which I assume is not very many, of course we reported the loss to Isaac Dulgarian when we entered him at JOCO. We always do and always will. How that got put on trackwrestling that he was undefeated is anyone's guess. There it is. Everyone have a happy holiday.

HHHMMM.....they reported it to JOCU but the program they handed out at the door had him listed at 4-0...seems strange.....

I am out of this. I simply wanted to say I thought he should be reported with one loss. If he was then fine. Isaac is awesome. Let's move on.
