Genetics. What a team does during the season or even before the season, is not enough to notice physically in the appearance of the participants. Weightlifting, or even bodybuilding, has to have a dedicated time of a couple hours a day, 4 to 5 days a week, and a couple of months before there is noticeable physical changes. With most wrestlers losing weight and having poor diets, most weightlifting during the season is not very beneficial.
