Hopefully we get to see a Wuthnow VS Johnson final both retuning state runner ups and undefeated.

How about team-wise? Norton sure is sitting pretty with how the brackets turned out. I think Hoisington would have been my pick, but they've had some bad breaks with an injury and Sanders getting upset at Regionals.

Also, Demel and Lambotte potentially meeting in the Semis is unfortunate, seeing as they are easily the top two in that weight class.

Looking forward to a good weekend!

The Demel vs Lambotte match should be a good one. Some other possible early matches I am looking forward to.

126
Ball vs Kough

152
Carroll vs Thibault

182
Grater vs Atwood

Definitely! Seeing how 182 shakes out as a whole will be interesting.

Another one that happens to involve Hoisington is at 220, Janousek vs Fortin in the second round, and potentially Janousek vs Greenbaum in the semis, which is also a number 1 vs number 2 ranked matchup.

I would have to say Michael Dusin will be the champion at 138 and Bradey Chard at 285...... otherwise the rest looks pretty good.

at 152#, Thibault could have G. Younger in quaterfinals before reaching carroll in semis...which will be very tough quaterfinal match. Then Brown could have Carroll in Quarters as well. A couple tough matches before reaching that semis.

Just a guess at the top 3 teams but I am going to say:

1. Norton
2. Plainville
3. Hoisington

Also Hoxie, Scott City, and Oberlin could make it interesting as well!

No, he is my cousin. He was 1pt from state finals last year and took 3rd at 113. I know it is going to take a fenominal tournament by him to win this weight, but anything can happen.

Kade Brown is my cousin. I'd love to see him win, but I'm going with Thibault at 152, meaning Kade will probably do really, really well.

Although Risewick is probably the best wrestler at this weight, there are many factors that play into state. Risewick knows this from last year, so I am sure he is hungry this year. Keegan impressed me last year, as he was not expected to be a huge factor then either. But ended up losing by 1 in the semis to the state champ. Believe me it is hard to go against any wrestlers coming out of the NW Kansas regional, as some of them had as tough if not tougher bracket as state will be.

As you see I differ at 152 as well. I am going with Younger.

My picks are going to take some upsets, so we will just see how it ends up at the end of the day on Saturday.

Good Luck all 321A wrestlers this weekend, I am excited to watch some good wrestling.
