There were some great matches today. Tourney ran great. Hope the injured are all able to continue next week.

The injury to Breanna Raines from Paola.

I spoke with Breanna's mom this morning, Shelly Douglas. Breanna is
still at Salina Regional, and had surgery yesterday to repair the broken
bones in her arm. She had 2 plates, 13 screws, and 2 large incisions.
She is feeling better today, and her spirits are improving, but they
would still appreciate continued prayers for healing for her.

I was so impressed with the way our wrestling community reached out to
this family yesterday, inquiring about her, mentioning that they would
be praying for her, and asking if there was anything they could do for
her. Her family is very appreciative of all of the kindness they have
been shown. They are hoping to take Breanna home later today.

Wondering about Curtis Near (120lbs) he injured his ankle. The Luellen family hopes he is ok.

I was wondering about all three I heard of and seen yesterday.

Near and Breanna, I was thinking about them and one more but not sure on the name in the smaller gym.

Fast healing to the little warriors!

Logan Pirl was also injured breaking his forearm bone as well. Went to the Doctor, got a cast, and came back to the tournament to watch.

Mr. Luellen,
Thanks for the kind words. I wish we both could have seen how that match would have ended. I think it was going to be a great one. The first set of x-rays showed no damage and Curtis is up and limping around today. He has another appointment in the morning but I think he will be fine. I hope to see you at state and get to meet you. We did not get that opportunity on Sunday.
