Looking on Track some of the kids names are in Black and not the Blue. In Jake's bracket Jake and Garret Feck are both in black and can not be looked up on track. Does anybody know why this is?

Track is also showing them not wrestling Subs or signed up for Districts. They are on the bracket so I am not worried, just curious why.

My guess is that whoever entered them for subs, manually entered them, instead of doing the club coach account search, which brings up all of your clubs wrestlers. You then can click on the kids names that you want to enter, and it will bring them up in a window, where you check their usa card number, age, weight, etc before saving that info to the system. It is much faster of course than startingover and "adding a wrestler".

I noticed yesterday when searching for wrestlers, that sometimes it would bring up the same wrestler twice and if you click on one of them, it showed no info, and if you clicked on the other, it had their full history.........

Doug is correct. this has to do with the way the wrestler was registered/entered. You can login to their profile and add results from past tournaments to it connects it back together.

You can also email the trackwrestling people and give them the track wrestling numbers of the duplicate entries and they can combine them. My son was entered as Gregory and Greg, I just emailed them and they fixed it and we make sure he is entered as Greg as that is what he goes by ... Hope that helps!

Beyond what the others have correctly answered, most people don't know that the normal club track account that is used week to week is not utilized for entries for Subs. You have a different user and password so your kids don't automatically show up in the list. Each year you have to import the kids or enter manually.

WWMama - not true. You can (and is highly recommended) to import using the same Club account for subs as well.

I have used the same club coach account for several years. The only thing I haven't learned is how to, each year, save the USA card number for each kid on their "profile". Also need to update the grade level for each kid. Got some 8th graders that might still be showing 4th grade........I haven't worried about it for regular tourneys, but for SUbs, I type in this year's USA card number on the profile.....

Joe Knecht - I think if had read my post you might have realized that we were saying the same thing. That said, if we used the same Club Account as we use all year long, the District would not email us our login information for entering wrestlers for SUBS. Yes we can and should import from our Club Account. Obviously some Clubs didn't realize this which is unfortunate because it saves a lot of time.

Doug, Go to TW and on the left click the Membership link. At the top of that page you will have 5 options, click the Members Login link.

Below the boxes where you would type in your user name and password is a sentence “Click here to have your Trackwrestling # and pass word emailed to you” follow those instructions.

It is a painful process to go into each kids profile to change their info.
