Bernie Fairchild passed away from cancer last week. Bernie was an avid wrestling father, grandfather, and fan. He was the father of WWC wrestler Blake Fairchild and Grandfather of WWC State Champion Adam Ayala. Services will be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church this Wednesday August 14th. Rosary at 9:30 am followed by Mass at 10:00 am.

I enjoyed many years of getting to know Bernie in the bleachers of wrestling tournaments. He was a huge fan of the sport and an even bigger fan of his family. He will be greatly missed.
