Why do college coaches not take time to promote their program on the KWCA College talk forum?
I would love to get a regular update on every college program in the state of KS.
I would love to be able read results of their competitions and how their wrestlers are doing.
I have also noticed if you go to the school's wrestling website it is hard to get up-to-date information.
If college programs are being supported by USA-Kansas is it to much to ask to take 15 minutes each week and (sell) tell us about your program.

I know a lot of the colleges have websites set up but in my experience, most have facebook and twitter accounts. I find it easier to follow through there than anything. I know Coach Thompson out at FHSU does a great job on twitter. I know that there are some Kansas guys down at NEO and the the following website will get you to their results and help you find their info on facebook and twitter. Hope it helps.

FHSU also does a decent job on their website having an article written up and posted about where the team has wrestled and how each individual did in the tournament. It is usually posted within a day or two.

I wish the college AD's and SID (sports information directors) would just put 1/10th of the effort or budget they use on major sports into minor college sports advertising and fully fund scholarships at Kansas colleges. The advertising dollars on TV, Radio, billboards along the highway for the major sports is a huge dollar amount. College wrestling coaches are fund raisers, secretaries, coaches, counselors/adviser, schedulers, recruiters, website mangers, twitter account, facebook, etc. They wear many many more hats then their counterpart head coaches in major sports.

"Why do college coaches not take time to promote their program on the KWCA College talk forum?"

The majority 99% of the college funding comes from or through the college or university at this time.

The KWCA (high school & kids) talk forum is on the USA Wrestling Kansas Website.

The KCWF is trying to help build a bridge between the Kids, HS and Colleges. The college wrestlers today will become the coaches for the next few generations of kids and HS wrestlers.

Not all high school coaches in Kansas use this talk forum. They rely their schools AD's SID's and website to disseminate information.
