It saddens me to break the news. Jim Williams longtime head coach of Anthony and Chaparral High School passed last evening 2/17. Jim was the father of wrestling in our school system starting the program in 1966. The program was born out of his study hall class inwhich there were only "country boys". Coaching from books and magazines he built a successfull program in the area. He coached until 1980 at Chaparral and later took the Kids Club over in the 90's.
