The 13th Annual Takedown Machine Drill Camp

Camp dates are available at www.purlerwrestling.com

This is an overnight camp that drew kids from as far away as Alaska last year and kids from over 25 different states. High School and youth teams generally come as well as individuals from across the country. Many of the top NCAA Wrestlers you see on TV have attended our camp.

Small Group (50 per camp) - Not the 700 kids per week spread across the indoor football fields as you get with the chaotic college sponsored camps.

Drill intensive - No random moves followed by recreational drill time. Repetition is the mother of all skill.

System based - We follow a drilling system / plan that gives your son exactly what they MUST know in order to be tremendous on their feet. A ‘master this and be great’ plan is essential to success. Trial and error camps are a waste of time.

Wrestling only – If you want your son to run, do pushups, and get screamed at by college kids at 6 am, do not come to our camp. All we do is wrestle and keep the kids engaged in the sport of wrestling. Besides, all the conditioning will wear off by time season comes and there is no need to pay someone to watch your son run or do pushups. The so-called intensive camps can in fact, be a poor way to spend our wrestling dollars.

Professional coaching- Only Nick, Tony, and a few of our trained coaches will be running the camps. Not random college kids as you get at the meat market camps.

Proof - At most camps, the director will say 'If you learn just one move this week, you got your monies worth'. Oddly enough, everyone nods in approval. At the Purler Camp, we invite you to come watch the final practice where we take your son through the entire camp format before your eyes and prove to you that we did our job. We are eager the impress you and plan on doing just that.

Dream Season Camp
This 14 day camp is the nation's first and only TECHNIQUE INTENSIVE training camp and a place to train with top Middle School and High School wrestlers from around the USA. Kids from New England to AK to FL to CA and everywhere inbetween attending last year.

The afternoon session is a great time to compete with some of the top kids from around the USA and nearly every wrestler in attendance last year was a State medalists with many nationally ranked wrestlers in attendance.
