The girls state tournament in McPherson yesterday was the best KS girls state tournament since we have been involved. The tournament was run well, over 100 girls competed, the level of competition was very good from the 6U girls giving their best all the way up through the high schools girls.

Great job Joe Knecht for directing, thanks to MAC wrestling club and the Engels for hosting and Ed for helping work the girls out and talk girls wrestling with them.

Looking forward to building up girls wrestling in the great state of Kansas.

Thanks to everyone who help put on girls state. Enjoyed the tournament. Well ran again. Hopefully all the young ladies will return for next year. The awards were top notch and first class. Thanks again.

Indeed it was a great time! As I understand it, this was the largest USAWKS Girls tournament to date! Thanks to all that answered the call and came out in full force.

In watching many matches, there were some highly competitive brackets. I am excited to see many of them compete this weekend in OKC for Nationals! Our officials crew did a nice job as well.

The MAC WC and the Engels are fantastic hosts, I want to thank them and EVERYONE who helped make it run so smooth.

I am already thinking of new ideas for the next one and am open to hearing any ideas you all may have. For those that asked for shirts, I have the order in and and will be shipping as soon as I get them.
