Cost of trip this year is $250.00. On Sunday, you will need to fill paper work out if you make the team and plan on going to Iowa. $100.00 deposit is required on Sunday also or payment in full. If you have copies of birth certificate, current grade card and insurance card with you it would be great. We will need all that information before going to Iowa. I would like to have all this information by March 31st.

There are still rooms available for the middle school and elementary school parents at the Candlewood Suites 402-505-4900. This hotel is across the street from the hotel where the wrestlers are staying - ask for the Kansas Wrestling Parents block

I would like to give only a suggestion for next years awesome middle school championship/dual qualifier....this tournament is so well coordinated and ran from beginning to end, and usually everyone is out at a very reasonable time....why not wrestle for true second? It would take minimal time and there were open mats available during finals matches....Im not saying that this year any one the 3rd team should be on second team and vice versa with second team...or even 1st team.....heck, any one of those guys, team 1-4, could probably beat any one of the others on any given day... but on the day of the tournament is what counts and if we are trying to represent KS the best way possible I think and if the 2nd place rule doesnt apply they should have the shot at 2nd team.
