Hello,
My name is John Thompson, and I am the head wrestling coach at Wood Memorial high school in oakland city indiana.
I wanted to extend an invitation to a high school summer duals tourney I will be hosting at my school on friday and Saturday, June 17-18. We are located a half hour from evansville, Indiana about a 3 hour drive from St. Louis. We will wrestle at least 10 times over the 2 days, and to help with hotel costs, we encourage teams to camp out in our gyms. We will also have a big dinner for all wrestlers and coaches on the first night of the tourney.
The tourney will be relatively cheap compared to others because what I'm concerned about is the competition, not the financial aspect. I am also considering doing a middle school aged tourney as well if interest is enough.
We will make sure to have a great hospitality room and concessions for the wrestlers and fans.
If this may be something you'd be interested in, please get back with me. I want to grow this into a great event for not only indiana, but for the Midwest, and to add teams from your state would move that into the right direction. Thank you for your time.
