Council Grove High School is looking for a head wrestling coach for the 2017-2018 school year. Social Studies is currently the only classroom opening that we have available.
I have enjoyed the past 16 years of serving as the head wrestling coach at Council Grove but will be making the transition to Council Grove's Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. I would like to thank all of those individuals that have helped support our program throughout the years.
I do plan on continuing to hold our annual summer camp and will have information posted on this forum later this week.
Our administration is very committed to finding a coach that will help continue building the sport of wrestling. We have an amazing wrestling room that is only 7 years old and have dedicated significant resources to enhancing other equipment and uniforms. The community has been very supportive of the sport and our youth program had 50 wrestlers this past season. You will not find a more supportive Athletic Director that wants to continue growing the sport of wrestling!
