Does anyone else find it strange that we allow district 1 to not only see who is in each weight group in the other 3 districts, but also have the actual brackets available to look at for most of a week before their kids have to decide which weight to enter at? The AD in me thinks something isn't right with that setup.

I know, and I'll be the first to say it too, you have to beat great kids no matter where you go this time of year, and you can't run and hide forever. But this could definitely be an advantage for the district 1 kids IMO.

This year its not that way I believe because Districts and Subs for District 3 are on 3/10, Districts 1,2,4 have the next week off when 3 is having district qualifiers,

I think all should be hidden until weigh ins are finished..

District 1 seeding, March 9
District 2 seeding, March 4
District 3 subs seeding March 4
District 4 seeding March 3

So district 1 has six days to see what every other bracket in the state looks like before they have to commit to a weight. Since we can move weights up until the seeding meeting this gives district 1 a definite advantage.

Next year, there is not subs in District 3, so everyone holds their District Championships the same day, Seeding meeting the day before and all wrestler info blind until the day of the championships.
