The Ark City Takedown Club would like to invite you to our annual tournament (Scotty Mac's Battle on the Border) that will take place on December 8th (Saturday) at the Ark City High School gym. There will be NO Sunday tournament this year. The open AND novice divisions will both run on Saturday the 8th. We will not be offering a 14U division this year due to the southern Kansas Middle School season.

On December 3rd, the West Madison bridge (aka US 166 west out of Ark City) will be out of service for reconstruction, and will not be open for about 1.5 years. FOR THOSE THAT PLAN TO ENTER ARK CITY FROM I-35 to US 166, please be informed that this bridge that would bring you into town from the west will be out of service. It appears that the most feasible route will be to take the "Lover's Lane" route stated on the website listed below. You would continue east on US 166 from I-35, then turn south on 41st Rd (just west of the bridge that is to be reconstructed). This asphalt road has a few sharp corners, and dumps out on South Summit Street (US 77). Then simply head straight north through town to Radio Lane, then obviously west to the high school. This picture is illustrated in the link below. It will be the lower right map towards the bottom of the webpage.
