Excited to be a part of the Metro Classic planning team this year. I remember watching the event when I was younger and being really pumped about being asked to compete my senior year. Unfortunately I wrestled a horrible match and gave up a reversal and near fall to lose at the very end of the match. I still lose sleep over it. Haha. Here is some information about this years event. This page will get updated with information as we get closer to the event. Hope to see you there.

Pumped to announce that Dorothy Mayabb will be announcing! She brings heat and makes an event better.

Here is a look at some figures around past history/results. The Kansas City Metro Classic has been running every year since 1992 with the exception of 1993 in which there was no event.

1992 Missouri 30 Kansas 18
1993 NO EVENT
1994 Missouri 30 Kansas 24
1995 Kansas 39 Missouri 18
1996 Missouri 43 Kansas 18
1997 Missouri 39 Kansas 15
1998 Kansas 36 Missouri 19
1999 Missouri 37 Kansas 19
2000 Missouri 29 Kansas 27
2001 Kansas 32 Missouri 13
2002 Kansas 33 Missouri 19
2003 Missouri 39 Kansas 21
2004 Missouri 50 Kansas 7
2005 Missouri 35 Kansas 16
2006 Kansas 27 Missouri 25
2007 Kansas 27 Missouri 26
2008 Missouri 32 Kansas 24
2009 Kansas 27 Missouri 23
2010 Missouri 36 Kansas 27
2011 Missouri 41 Kansas 19
2012 Kansas 26 Missouri 25
2013 Missouri 27 Kansas 25
2014 Missouri 33 Kansas 23
2015 Missouri 30 Kansas 28
2016 Missouri 40 Kansas 17
2017 Missouri 35 Kansas 16
2018 Kansas 35 Missouri 15

Series Record 17-9 Missouri

Total points Missouri - 789 Total points Kansas 616

Kansas put a beating on Missouri last year with a score of 35-15. This snapped a 5 dual winning streak by Missouri. Who do you think goes into this years event with the stronger squad?

Looks like there will only be 13 matches this year. As usual, Missouri looks stronger on paper.

I ran into NCAA Champion, Mark Ellis, at an FCA function this morning. Snagged this interview about his experience in the Metro Classic. Did you know that Mark had to wrestle off to make the Missouri team? I am fairly certain he is a Missouri homer. He is picking Missouri to win.

My bad, LC. The link was taking you to the wrong place. For some reason posting a link rather than using the PayPal button is not working. In the meantime, go to the link below. In the event page scroll down to the college coaches, spectators, and media section. You will see a "Buy Now" button. It will take you to a functional checkout. Sorry for the trouble.

Is there a way to pre-purchase tickets ahead of time? We normally purchase tickets in bulk to hand out to our club prior to the event.
