Hello,

King of the Jungle is looking to be a great tourney with great competition! We learned from our few mistakes last year and made the appropriate adjustments. First off we capped our amount of wrestlers at 550. This will keep us on pace for a great day of wrestling and everyone will get out at a reasonable time. With the lowered number of wrestlers that allows every age group and weight class to wrestle on full mats for both sessions! Our hospitality room for coaches and refs will be working hard to keep up their reputation as one of the best around. Lansing High School provides us with a great venue to put on this tourney. Lots of room for seating and plenty of commons space for people to grab a bite at the concession stand and stretch their legs between matches. We will have lots of vendors selling many different types of things.
We ask that you please don’t park in the grass of the parking lot. There is sufficient parking spaces for everyone.

***Next season King of the Jungle will have a new date! Once the season is over our board members will sit down and decide what date best works for us.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!

Thank you
Lion Elite

Why did registration close early with 476 wrestlers?

There are numerous reasons for this.
1.) We do not sign up our guys via track, so the matrix is not showing our club members.
2.) It is a Sunday tournament and we are trying to get done around 3pm ish.
3.) Registration has been open for a couple months now and we feel we gave everyone ample time to register.

Thank you for your interest in attending the 4th Annual King of the Jungle Tournament. Sorry you were unable to get in the tournament this year. Next year we will be hosting it on a Saturday and should be able to add more entries.
