2019 Cadet Duels is being held in Spokane, WA again.
Last summer we took one team and finished 4th in Greco Roman and 5th in Freestyle matching one of best finishes we have had a Cadet duels. The boys wrestled hard and we had fun! What we realized is that we didn’t have enough support on our duel roster to compete with the teams that maximized there duel roster. By having a deeper dual roster we can compete for a National TEAM title. With the goal of becoming National Champions we will be taking 26 wrestlers to compete for this prestigious honor.

May 31- June 2, 2019 UWW Cadet & U23 Nationals

• Win or Place Top 4 @USAWRESTLING Regionals
Each individual wrestler brings seeding points by winning or placing top 3 at regionals. This also automatically qualifies you for the National tournament in Fargo!

April 24-28,2019 US Open: Western Regional Championships: Las Vegas NV

May 3-5, 2019 Northeast Regional Championships East Stroudsburg, PA

May 17-19, 2019 Northern Plains Regional Championships Rochester, MN

May 24-26, 2019 Southeast Regional Championships Wilmington, NC

May 24-26, 2019 Central Regional Championships Ada, OH

June 7-9, 2019 Southern Plains Regional Championships Mulvane, KS

Kansas Freestyle state tournament 6/ 1/ 19 is also a tournament that will be used as criteria. Winning this tournament alone will not qualify you for a roster spot. The body of work that you put in from now until end of Southern Plains will Determine our team and your spots. Please make arrangements to attend events that will qualify you for CADET DUELS event.

There will brief meetings at State and Southern Plains to go over Team Roster and trip information.

Understand that you build your own resume and this is what will qualify you for this team.

Must place at a regional and or be top two at state to be in consideration to make the roster.

Remember this a team event but an opportunity to get exposure to the national field and college coaches.

Travel Notice

Wrestlers and parents it is important to know that we will be leaving Tuesday June 11tth at 555am from KCI airport. This is only 1 day after Southern Plains. Please be prepared to make travel arrangements to be at the airport for our flight.

We will finalize qualifiers Sunday night after Southern Plains.

Reminder we will have meetings at Southern Plains and the State Tournament.
