Chanute had themselves a performance at the 2020 4A tourney in Salina! For their efforts, the Blue Comets won their first wrestling State Title in program history (I believe the only other State Championship for Chanute was in basketball back in the day). Head Coach and SEK native Andy Albright, took over in 2004. He created a solid foundation, built on it, knocked on the door in 2014 and 2015 with Runner-up finished before blasting the door down during the 2019-20 season.
