The 2021 USAW Cadet National Duals will be held in Westfield, Indiana. As in tradition we taking two teams as this is the first dual series event our wrestlers to compete together as Team Kansas in the international styles. We will be in Indianapolis June 9-13 and make plans to leave bright and early on the morning of 9th for Westfield, IN. We will have a bus chartered to take the teams over to Indiana. We plan to leave from the Ramada Inn in Topeka. The address is 420 SE Topeka Ave.
Cost for this event will be around $275 Deposit #1 $200 Due May 15, 2021. Remaining Balance Due June 2, 2021. Checks Payable to: USAWKS Mail to: Chas Thompson, 1301 Grand, Parsons, Ks 67357. The fee covers the athletes trip over to Indiana, lodging, and food. They will also get four Team Kansas shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, and 2 singlets. If you are not competing at Fargo, then you will need to return the singlets after the duals have completed.
The plan is to field the most competitive team we have. We will take 2 teams with a few alternates possibly that would be flexible to meet the teams needs.

Kansas will send two teams to compete against the rest of the United States. How do you become a member of these National Schoolboy Greco and Freestyle teams? Please read below:
QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL DUAL TEAM AT FS/GR STATE
Sunday, May 2nd at the State Freestyle and Greco tournament in Hutchison, KS Team Kansas will fill the dual spots primarily by using the FS/GR State tournament results. The top three placers at the state meet will be considered for the Kansas Cadet National Dual teams in their respective weight class and style. If a placer elects not to compete then the USAWKS Coaching staff will fill these spots accordingly. The coaching staff will move to the 4th place finisher first and then look to ANY and ALL wrestlers from Kansas to fill the possible spots!
TEAM KANSAS GOAL
The goal for Team Kansas is to win a TEAM Greco and Freestyle National Dual Title. In order to accomplish this goal, the USAWKS Coaching staff will put the wrestlers in the best situations to help the TEAM win a National Title. The staff will determine when and how many matches the wrestler will wrestle in order to help Team Kansas be successful. Keeping in mind the state champion in each class and style will receive the majority of the matches at the event.
