Rules the way I read states that the wrestler shall weigh in in a competition singlet.

I could find anything about pulling straps down for skin check in the rules although it is pretty customary for males or boys ….but unless there is something suspect is it truly required?

Also females is a other subject as well, I had a 8th grader get asked to pull her singlet down tonight which was in the public room and a male scale operator. Not saying anything other than is that a requirement with no suspect of skin condition. That request was also not consistent with our other girls that where younger.

If she felt uncomfortable she should have refused and what would happen then….

Typically if that skin check for the girl division is going on it should be in a separate room is what I always assumed.
