Trego Community High School in WaKeeney is looking to start a Boys and Girls Varsity Wrestling tournament for next season. We would like to hold the tournament on Dec. 3, 2022. We have the ability to run 5 mats under the same roof for this event. As girls wrestling numbers continue to grow and many of us are sharing staff between both our boys and girls teams, it is great when we don't have to split up our staff and teams to go to multiple tournaments on the same day. Trego Community High School is a regular host of KSHSAA regional tournaments and we recently hosted the MCL boys and girls tournaments. I know it is hard to leave a tournament that you have been attending for many years, but I am confident we can host a great event for both your boys and girls teams. We will run round robin/scramble brackets depending on numbers to maximize matches. We have currently have 6 team committed to coming.
