We all know that Jake is number one in baker's heart.

So this kid is putting on his shoes right, and his mom says, honey you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet, and the little kid says, no mom these are my feet

Jake is also #1 in my heart, if for no other reason than the fact that I am scared of him.

Congrats to him.

Your childish comment reminded me that you are indeed, still in high school.

I am from Abilene, I stick up for my hometown. Its seems to me that there are a lot of people out there that think less of jake for one reason or another but yet time after time he proves them wrong. first it was the Garcia kid then it was the salina kid now it is Annon. I am glad to see that 5 years after i left the coaches can still produce great wrestlers Kyle are a senior? If so are you going to wrestle at the Silver lake old timers tourny what do you weigh I would like to wrestle you see if you can beat an old fat guy (265)

Abilene fans remind me of Iowa Hawkeye fans on the "themat.com" (Aaron Sweazy would soooo agree with me). Like Iowa fans, Abilene fans usually are obnoxious, cocky, become defensive reaal quick, extremely loyal to their team and do some pretty far out stuff to support their team (ex. When Tanner Dawson's dad wrote the aformentioned comment on his car).

Um....just for your information that wasn't Tanner's dad that wrote that...it was someone else...and too bad the only reason people hate Abilene fans is because they wish their fans gave them that same kind of appreciation and actually supported them!

Nothing that rocknraider said about Abilene fans is true. There are a few of us that are outspoken about the team, but the rest remain silent other than being at the matches. This is a far cry from the Manhattan people whose entire team is on here talking about themeselfs all day. And the other members on this site with well over 1000 posts who obviously have nothing better to do with their time than talk a lot of crap. Maybe its just me but thats my observation. For the future rocknraider why don't you leave your blanket statements and stereotypes off of these forums, better yet why not just stop posting and save yourself the keystrokes you are wasting.

Dear Nigel:

You state: "better yet why not just stop posting and save yourself the keystrokes you are wasting."

Have you ever considered practicing what you preach?

Richard when was the last time I started making sterotypes about people I don't even know? Do I have over 1000 posts? Am I the one on here talking crap? Since the answer to all of these questions is no, I will lend no weight to your question since it was both stupid and uncalled for. mycompetition .... since you post anonymously no one really cares what you think, me most of all so your pathethic attempt at a post will at the moment be ignorned.

OK...everyone he mentioned my name. With that he said I'd agree. Well I do to an extent but not necessairily in a negative way that many interpret him saying. Oklahoma State's Chris Pendleton said it best: there is a fine line between cocky and confident. I think fans at any succesful program come off as cocky in the heat of battle. (OU football fans for example).

A lot of you missed the LOYAL part that was mentioned which I agree with. The part about extreme things to support their team is true...Abilene does that for all sports though, it's really kind of nice to see as you are driving downtown the main strip past the Seelye Mansion and stuff the banners saying best of luck at state and it has a different banner for each athlete going along the different yards, as well as coaches and such. Heck I've been about 30 miles South of Abilene and seen good luck signs on the way to state, very loyal fans.

But as for another matter at hand:

You got a beef with the 1000 club? I just became a member 10 minutes ago, but I have other things I could be doing...wrestling is a passion for me and most of my 1000 posts have been more than 1 word to make my post total go up.

I'm usually opinionated and let everyone know it and if they don't like it....they will get on my case, and just as fast people will back me up and then next thing you know...everyone will have posted. Not all 1000 member posters are bad...just like not all Abilene people are either.

Wow, I didn't even notice. Congrats on making it to 4 digits. And don't worry about Nigel's comment. He has a bad habit of stereotyping and making generalized comments about large groups of people.

Congrats, Aquinas!

Dear Nigel:

You ask:

Q: "when was the last time I started making sterotypes about people I don't even know?"
A: Yesterday, in a post regarding Knox and Wichita West!

Q: Am I the one on here talking crap?
A: When did you ever stop!

Further you add: I will lend no weight to your question since it was both stupid and uncalled for.

Obviously, you did lend weight to the question, or you would not have replied.

Who is it that is talking about stupid?

So yeah, I'm watching 8 Mile now, and I don't know why. Anyways, his mom is kind of hot. In a weird, old, skanky, mom kind of way.

So this kid is putting on his shoes right, and his mom says, honey you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet, and the little kid says, no mom these are my feet
