Mike,
I dont know who you are but I admire your courage and know that
God almighty does answer prayers. Whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability and if you do then no matter what the outcome your a winner. I have a feeling that your grandpa would say the same thing. My mother died the year of our youngest sons senior of cancer, and I can remember my son saying to her that he was going to win a state championship for her, but it did not happen that way he ended up runner up and he was devastated for quite a while. Now I am not sure if he felt like he let her down or it was a combination of not getting his own goals, but my point is that as long as you do your best thats all that really counts no matter how you do in the win loss column. God allows things to happen in each of our lives and we dont have all the reasons why but someday we will all find out. He promises not to give us anymore than we can handle, and one thing I do know is God keeps his promises. So remember to draw your strength from Him and know your grandpa and your family is in our prayers as well. Cliff Martin
