Had a good talk with BC tonight ...... still working his a** off ..... don't know how many of our friends from Augusta keep tabs on our thread, but I gotta give props to the folks in Augusta who organized and ran the girls softball tourney this past weekend ...... the hospitality was phenomenal ..... been there the last three years to watch my niece play, and the people there are top notch ...... they have always gone the extra mile to make certain that people who have handicapped relatives that want to come to watch have close and easy access to the fields ..... their hospitality is genuine and we have seen this with the youngsters who are working, not just the adults ..... it sure was fun

By now, you all probably know about Spencer Buck ....... this kind of thing is bad enough when it happens to somebody you don't know ....... and Spencer didn't do anything wrong , guys ..... he wasn't drinking or speeding and he WAS wearing his helmet ........ with all this in mind, let's remember to take care of ourselves and each other, and to appreciate and make the most of the time we have together ....... BTW, I'm not sure I remembered correctly all of our guys that Spencer wrestled ..... let me know if I missed anyone ..... I was thinking he might have wrestled Billy, too.

Superiorsteve: Really enjoyed your thoughtful note about Spencer Buck. There is a great lesson in watching out for each other and making the most of our time together. What makes our "family" special is that quality of caring, sharing and genuine feelings for one another. It creates a bond difficult to break from outside forces. We will always remember Spencer, now and forever.

Sorry I missed seeing some of you this past weekend. Had a chance to visit with Coach Seirant, as he is always very inspirational and upbeat about the future. All of Steveville should be comforted to have a man of deep conviction and honor heading up your wrestling program. Hope to see you folks later this year.

FIrst of all, you shouldn't have hurt my feelings by lying about Carmen Electra having a new boyfriend ...... now that I have that off my chest, you guys could win this time, Captain ...... I won't be officiating! ...... which is pretty much a good thing for all ...... I will be there right alongside Canadiansteve and Petey, though ..... count on it ...... has anybody heard from the Dirty Penguins? ...... I also like the team that wore all-pink uni's ....... we should get Matt and Caleb to put together a CMSU team ....... I haven't heard if Angrysteve and his Shockers are entered

So how did Dodgeball II go? Inquiring minds (and distant relatives) are dying to know the outcome. The commentary must have been legendary.

By the way, happy belated 40th to Big Steve O!!

Ahhh .... good to here from you again, Mac ......... the Second Annual Steveville Dodgeball tournament was a great success ...... we sure did miss the BV boys! ..... but we did some things that made the tourney more interesting for the teams ..... for instance, we played through two six-team pools to get the seeding for the single-elimination bracketed play in the afternoon ...... most of the teams from last year returned (although with new names) and we had a new entry that made it to the finals against Angrysteve's team ....... the championship game was a close one ...... but the Angry one pulled out the victory and hoisted the trophy ....... Will get a more complete summary another time ......... hope all is well with you and hope to see you in the near future!
