I saw the match. Jessen was pushing hard on Madison and Madison changed levels real fast and real low and tossed Jessen to his back (a lateral i guess). Jessen fought it for about 40 seconds but to no avail. First period pin win for Madison. Quite impressive. I couldn't believe how fast he hit it.

I watched this match and was very suprised to see Jessen be thrown like that. I myself have known both Tyler Jessen and Elijah Madison for quite a few years now and think they are both fine wrestlers. I knew that elijah could throw from his time in freestyle/greco and I told jessen this and told him to not give too much pressure or elijah will throw him. It is the first time tyler has met anyone who could actually throw him or defend his bear-hug with a saltow. Before this week the two wrestlers' only losses were to Michael Sprigg from Norton (11-5 for madison) and (7-5 in OT for Jessen). The two will meet this next week at the Goddard Tournament for a much anticipated rematch. After a long week of practice I hope to see Jessen a little smarter and more prepared. The heavyweight match at the gooddard tournament should be very interesting.
