Who do you think will be in the finals? Younkin(Oakley) I know will most likely be there, but with who? Does Richards(Oberlin) have a shot beings he only lost to Farber(Hoxie) by 1 point @ the NWKL Tournement.

One of the Harding twins from Norton is at 135 (the other at 130). From the results I've read, they're both wrestling really well...lots of pins. Possibly the Harding at 35 could do some damage

The harding twin your talking about is Jermey and he does have a great shot at the walk of champions.

Anyone has a shot at the walk of champions, state is a brand new season. And jermey does have a change.

Well said Mitch103, anything can happen at state regardless of what happened in the regular season.

Seems like this may be one of those wide open weight classes this year. Any of the 16 people that make it to state have a shot. Interesting to note that 4 of the 5 above mentioned will be at the same regional (WaKeeney) so it will be interesting to see what happens there. Once again that NW regional may come into play.

Are you guys insane? Harding, Richards and Farber are all good but Younkin will win state and should rather easily. And as far as "anything can happen at state" - not true! 12 of the 16 qualifiers in the words of Lee Corse should "fo-get about it"

No we are not insane. Very first post said it would be Younkin but who would he face? From what I am reading nobody has said it will not be Younkin but against who? Will he not haveto wrestle anyone in the finals? The state is just automatically going to give him first and let everyone else wrestle for 2nd-6th? Now who is insane?

Well Mike i think that means " The walk of champions" means where they walk in when they play the eye of the tiger song and everyone is standing and yelling and claping. I dont that meant that he would be a champ. I know jeremy personaly and i know he wants to win state more than anyone but he knows that he has a hell of a fight ahead of him. And plus he does have a good chance. Farber only beat bloom 3-0 and Harding teched him in the 2nd. I think Jeremy has a chance.

A lot's going to depend on how they finish at Regionals. For Jeremy Harding (for example) 2nd or 3rd would be sooo much better than 4th. The 4th place finisher at this Regional has a great chance to win his first and quite possibly 2nd match at State but will run into Younkin. It's best to avoid Levi as long as possible.

Mike I agree, Younkin should win this state title pretty easily, but he's not going to go uncontested, but BJP you cannot compare common opponents really, there are numerous factors that could be considered as to why it turned out like it did, but ya never know, everyone at state has earned the right to be there, but getting there first is the challenge ahead
