My hometown was Wahpeton, ND and we were the Wahpeton WOPS. They have since changed the name, it offended those with an Italian heritage.

If I remember right I think Beaver, Oklahoma had an unusual mascot. The Beaver Dusters.

Oolagah is a town and Talala is a town. Talala is not that far from oolagah and not big enough to have a school, so they ship those kids to Oolagah. My cousin just graduated from there. I'm guessin' that the Talala kids wanted to have their name included or somethin..

I was looking at going to Texas Christian University for college and their mascot is the "horned frog"...I can't say much because I might go there some day

We still have a home on Oologah and Nathan used to go to school there. Their nickname is The Mustangs.

The Richland Thunderducks! We were purple and green having a duck with a thunderbolt.

Ever notice how much a cougar and a panther look alike? I think they are like the same animal.

My High School was the Buccaners, and my college was the Blue Jays/Buccaners. Three pretty good mascots, except for that Blue Jay, he was kind of weird.
