Wrestlers, state is almost upon us, and the time to recruit your teammates is right after state. Couple of things. Just heard that the Manhattan crew is really a part of the Wizzers team, thanks Coach Gonzo, we are going to truly have a great team.

Currently I am asking that those who have practice space open for our Kansas High School Kids who will be wrestling for the Kansas Wizzers to post on here practice locations and times. It is my understanding that most of the schools and clubs will require a USA Card for practicing, that helps take care of the insurance part of it.

As of today I still have people all over the state asking me about practice locations. I need firm locations all over. We will try to have a practice or two as an entire team prior to going to Brute. I am also asking that for those that have not gotten in touch with me to do so ASAP. Also a reminder that the singlet money is due by the 15th of March. I will order those at Noon on the 15th of March. You can order more than one singlet, but you will need to have the money in to me. There is a price breakdown for the 2nd singlet, email for that information. We can order additional singlets for kids and or those not wrestling. There have been many questions as to that, again, email me for the information on this. I will not order you a singlet unless you pay in advance for those.

We are having practices on M,W, TH from 6:30 - 8:00 for USA KS Kids and anyone interested in going to Brute in Omaha. Practices are at Saint Thomas Aquinas in Overland Park and they must have their USA card prior to any practices and must bring the USA card with them to practice. I am not holding seperate practices until after kids is over. The times will be the same after kids state.

Bobby, give me an email. Right now it depends on how many we get in. It didn't look promising at first as we were expecting 30-50 members of the wizzers. We ended up ordering around 74 singlets though, a lot more kids than we anticipated. Of course our first obligation on the singlets are to the members of the Kansas Wizzers. Again, email me using the information here. I may have an extra one for you and have requested if possible a few extras.

Another notation here. I have paid for, and booked 10 rooms for the Wizzers, if you are not on the bulk email list for the wizzers and are participating with the team, you will need to contact me ASAP to have the risk of getting a room. The 10 rooms, of which 5 have already been booked, will go out on a first come first serve bases. I got a great rate on the rooms for the team to go along with great accommodations. Will be posting some information later on regarding Brute, waiting to hear back about the singlets, I may have a few extra if we get them of the new style, but a very few. Will try and email out itenerary this afternoon for those of us going early. We need to make sure everyone is at weight, remember sign up's and changes deadline is tomorrow evening. Everyone show up on weight, ready to go and then step on the mat and show everyone that Kansas knows wrestling.
