Jason Pyle won his second State Championship on Saturday in Hays at 145lbs. Jason is a truly humble and kind young man who deserves a little praise from his coach. I know he is going to hate me for starting this thread, but I am proud of his achievement!
Jason defeated John Harding of Norton 9-0 in the finals to win the title. Jason finished the season 33-1 and won possibly the toughest bracket in 321a, although someone will surely disagree. Now he is tied with big bro Matt here at Sabetha with 2 titles! Can't wait for next year when he will be Senior! I would also like to extend a congrats to Jesse Strawn and Mike Roberts (league rivals and great kids) on their State Titles.
And to all those Silver Lake boys and their coaches, great job!
Collin Hase deserves some praise too, way to go bud! That kid is a cradling machine!

Best match this year Jason Pyle, Sabetha, wrestling Brian McClure CAMERON, MO at the Maryville, MO tourney. Brain is now a three time state champ in MO. The score was 7-6 McClure with a questionable takedown in the second period. One great match even though Jason came up on the short end of the score.

I would also like to congratulate Jason Pyle on another great season and for winning another State Title. I would also like to wish defending National Champion Matt Pyle the best of luck in the upcomong NCAA III National Champinships.
