just got home from Omaha. i just have to say i have never been to this before and i absolutely love it. i like that i got a chance to meet so many people from around the state and be on the same team and exchange stories and watch some of the best wrestling i have seen all season. I really didnt know many of these people but i must say that those were the most helpful and nice people i have ever met. i have really never met dal eck before these last 2 weeks and to think of that that guy does for this sport in kansas and the boys is awesome. all the other coaches i met and talked to made this event my favorite. i hope to get a chance to be part of this in the future and hope that more kids and parents get involved in this in the future.

A big thanks to Dal for all the effort involved in putting this together for the boys. Putting 4 teams together is a big challenge and we filled every weight on every team!

Thanks to all the coaches/van drivers and parents that helped us out on the tables as well.

Well done Team Kansas!

Dal......You do a great job organizing this event. Thanks!

It was nice to see old friends and make new ones. It's hard to keep up with all of the teams during the tournament, but I watched all of the KS Navy and most of the KS Air Force in the Gold Bracket on Sunday. We were so close to having both teams reach the "Final Four" in the Gold Bracket.....just a small break for both teams and it would have happened. It was still awesome to have two teams in the Gold bracket and to finish with two in the Top 8.

This tournament is still the highlight of the year and it didn't disappoint. Mark your calendars now for next year.

What an awesome experience we had in Nebraska! Thank you to all of the people that made this possible for our kids to go. Dal - super job organizing this deal. That had to have been extremely hard to do, but job well done. Thank you to the coaches for putting in the time and effort in to the boys. I know my boy had a blast. Something he will be talking about forever.

PS - Tom, keep pop bottle to the side of your chair. Ha. Funny stuff.

here were a couple sayism's as i like to say from kids or parents that i heard over the weekend. i used this one as a motivation for some of the boys. i told them that one of the nebraska kids asked me if i knew what was on top of kansas. i said no and he said Nebraska. a couple of the kids kind of looked at me and said whats that mean. i said they think they are better than you. then a couple kids got that angry look on. Jordan Eli has a mean look lol. Then I asked the boys just before we started wrestling the Missouri team and I asked them you know whats worse than Missouri. no what. Losing to Missouri. that one didnt quite work out but it was all fun anyways.

I would also like to thank Dal, all coaches, van drivers, and everyone else that helped make this trip possible. My boys made memories that will last a lifetime. This is by far one of the neatest experiences they've had so far in their wrestling careers. It was very impressive to see the coaches bring the teams together in just two short days. This is a great opportunity to experience the team side of wrestling and make lots of new friends.

WOW! Amazing experience for myself and my boy! Wasn' sure how it would go before the trip, but we had an absolute blast! Those of you who didn't look into it, or for some reason weren't involved, YOU ALL MISSED OUT!

Dal, I can't thank you enough for all your hard work, energy, and time that you devote to these kids. This was a huge undertaking and your contribution to our kids does NOT go without notice by many! Thanks man!

A special thanks to John Harper for being the driver of of my boy's van, and many other duties for this event. Thanks John!!!

Also, much thanks to those who helped coach, and otherwise see after the kids!
