Team Kansas had a tough morning! Sean Deshazer will be our only Junior All-American in the Freestyle tourney!!

He comes back at 6 pm in an effort to wrestle for 3rd tomorrow morning.

Isaac Luellen will be our lone Cadet All-American.

Both Sean and Isaac will repeat the AA from Greco!!

It's Saturday morning in Fargo! And this will probably be my last report from the 2014 Asics/Vaughn Cadet & Junior National Championship!! (that's a mouthful ... Fargo!)

As with any year, Team Kansas, has had their ups and downs. Overall in my opinion it has been a good year! Team Kansas will finish with 12 All-American; 8 in Greco, 2 Women, and 2 Freestyle!

Included will be a pair of double AA's! Both Isaac Luellen and Sean Deshazer have l complete the vaunted double!!

There is one more session of wrestling ... Sean will be wrestling for 3rd, later this morning! I am hoping someone else will be able to post the results as this computer will be packed and stowed. By noon today, the Jubster and yours truly will be Southbound and down!!

Thanks Richard for the pickup!!

The Jubster and I headed South shortly after Sean's match. On the way home, we were already planning and brain-storming ways to improve Team Kansas and their performance throughout all aspects of our wrestling!!

A few years ago, Team Kansas was knocking on the door of a top 5 State. We need to make some tweaks in every style in every age group to restore us to that level.

But I am confident it will happen! There is dedication amid coaches at all levels that will see it done!
