NEW FACES ADDED TO NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA A&M COLLEGE
WRESTLING COACHING STAFF

Three new coaches have been added to the defending NJCAA 2014 National Championship wrestling program. Coach Dustin May has decided to pursue other interests after being an integral part of the coaching staff during the inaugural season. Coach Dennis Siegmann will return for his fourth season at the side of Head Coach Joe Renfro as the pair look to win their fourth consecutive NJCAA National Championship together.

Coach Chase Nelson, Wichita, Kansas will be an assistant coach working primarily with the middle/upper weights. Chase was a two-time Kansas State Champ for Wichita Heights. He won the NJCAA National Championship for Coach Renfro in 2010. In 2011 he wrestled for Oklahoma University, leading the team in pins, and qualifying for the NCAA Division 1 tournament out of the Big XII. In 2010, Nelson also won the prestigious Midlands Tournament and finished fourth at the University Games. During the 2013 season he wrestled for Nebraska-Kearney University finishing second in the NCAA Division 2 National Tournament. Coach Nelson also competes in MMA action.

Coach Michael Williams, Claremore, Oklahoma, was an NJCAA National Runner up last season for NEO at 141 lbs. earning All-American recognition. He will work with the light weight wrestlers. Michael is a student at NEO finishing his associate degree. He previously wrestled for Coach Renfro at Labette CC, earning NJCAA Academic All-American status. At Claremore High School he was a four time state place winner going 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, and 1st.

The third addition to the staff is volunteer Coach Jaime Siegmann, joining his father on the Renfro team. Jaime is currently enrolled as a full time student at NEO and living in Miami, after moving from Bethlehem, Connecticut last February. He was an All-State wrestler and All-State soccer player at Nonnewaug High School in Connecticut. He also plans to volunteer to help the NEO Men’s Soccer Team as time permits.

Seven Kansas wrestlers are also on the 2014-15 defending NJCAA National Champions roster:
